I personally would prefer to have another 20 inch barrel. But I'm going to send it off to have it threaded anyway so I could cut down a 22 inch barrel very easily at that time.

I'll thread the next batch. I just didn't know how thing thing was going to do and which role it would be used in even though I intended it to be a hunting cartridge.

That's the only reason I want mine threaded. But I honestly don't want a different barrel length out of fear of having to work up new loads for a change like that.

Greatness from H. as expected.

I will be getting my 20" 270AR threaded to run my 7.62 Saker (in NFA jail until about April).
Can't wait to get started with my 26" Krieger 270AR after BiggDawg is done with Cerekote. [biggrin]

I'd like to get one with a 20" barrel and maybe some brass. Can't wait to see them in stock again.

I haven't said much about this in a while but we have had good feedback with several calls a week wanting to order or reserve a barrel.   I have 18 and 20" threaded barrels coming. The profiles are the same as the 6.8 barrels but the rifling is 10 twist with 3 grooves this time. That may help if anyone wants to run longer bullets.

That sounds good because I'm probably in the market for another 20 inch barrel. I've been a little reluctant to check my actual bullet seating depth that I measured when my barrel was new seversl 1000 rounds later. My rifle still shoots great but I would be very sad to know how much I'm wearing it out.

I still giggle like a kid every time I see an armadillo explode after being shot with this rifle. It certainly has not been unpleasant to me wearing this barrel out.

This is a fantastic chambering in the AR15.  It really should be more available.
