hello from michigan

been hunting with a msr for 3 years now, wish i would have got on board sooner.

building a 6.5 grendel now, first whitetail buck with a msr was with a 300 blackout.

the 300 blackout was trendy but i want more knock down power with the same small package.

6.5 Grendel is a great round but I prefer the 243 LBC. It's simply a Grendel necked down. With 95 grain bullets at about 3000 fps from a 22" barrel, it's hard to beat. I took a 200 lb whitetail at 350 yards this year. The 6.5 would have worked too but has more drop and more recoil. I was able to watch the bullet impact because of the lack of recoil in the 243.
