John here from St. Peters, MO (St. Louis metro area). I'm new to the 6.5 Grendel so I am here to learn as much as I can from this forum about that cartridge. I'm the armorer for my Police Department so i'm used to tearing down and tinkering with AR-15's, Glocks, and 870 shotguns. I've done several builds on the AR15 platform for myself but all chambered in .223/5.56 or .223 wylde. I'm a gun nut who loves to hunt and fish when I get the time. Recoil Brothers is in reference to my company Recoil Brothers, LLC ..more to come on that topic!

My current project is a AR 6.5 Grendel II build

What I have so far:

Black Rain Ordnance Fallout 15 upper and lower billet receiver set
Black Rain Ordnance 17.75" m-lok slim hand guard
Black Rain Ordnance lower parts kit
Sharps Rifle balanced NP3 bolt
JP adjustable gas block
Seekins Precision ambi-safety, mag release, and bolt release
Magpul PRS rifle stock
3 ten round ASC magazines
Tactical Dynamics billet pistol grip

What I have ordered or plan to order:

Satern 20" 1/8" fluted medium contour barrel with .136 bolt (on group buy list..just waiting patiently)
Raptor ambi charging handle
????? Trigger ?????

Any comments, suggestions, helpful advice I would appreciate it!
