I was asked to post up my recent first grendel build so here goes.

TEXAS Black rifle company receivers and 15" keymod rail
JP lightweight 18" 6.5 grendel barrel, adj gas block, full mass carrier, bolt, silent capture buffer and break
UBR
CMC two stage 2lb/2lb trigger
Raptor CH
High velocity arms ambi mag release
Low drag forward assist- being a lefty I think I'm going to love this
Battle arms pivot and takedown pins and ambi safety
Shelf grip- not sure if it's staying or not..
Vortex viper pst 4-16 sfp

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but that's the most of it, unfortunately I finished it a few days before I had to go offshore for work and it wouldn't stop raining long enough to go zero it in yet so I still have no idea how it shoots..

I gotta say that the guys at Texas Black rifle works are some awesome guys to deal with. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Its a long crappy story but short put my receivers and hand rail were lost (along with the $2,200 worth of parts I originally had bought for my build) due to reasons not of any fault of theirs or mine and they sent me another set of receivers and a rail free of charge. I didn't want to accept it but they insisted, they have earned my business for life. Not to mention these are some sweet receivers and made in Shiner Tx.

This low drag forward assist should save a few sore fingers.

Can't wait for deer season. I'll try her out on some hogs when I get home in a couple weeks.

Haven't weighed it yet but it's pretty light. Without the scope it's really light but the scope balances it out nicely with the ubr. I'll weigh it when I get home in a couple weeks and post weight.

Good way to start with a Grendel Rifle. The barrel setup will make you a happy shooter.
