Hello from Mn also.... I love my Grendel upper. I opted for a BHW 18”. Where abouts you from? Metro??

I grew up in Minnesota.........I. Falls. We all have to be from somewhere...I sure don't miss the cold though. I'm out in Washington State now...been here over 30 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I'm not and never have been a city boy but we/some of us anyway don't always get that option or choice. I do and do live out I the country. about 30 miles as the crow flies from Mt. St. Helens...welcome aboard.....

Incidentally I went with a 20" Spinta barrel with a .125 face bolt....what a shooter. At 200 yards or so I'm staying inside of an inch...I build and "Taylor" my own rounds to what my rifle likes as well as the inner inner workings including trigger/sear/buffer weight...it does make a big difference along with an adj. muzzle brake.

I am down in Hastings, grabbed a faxon 18" with all the goodies from Brownells.
