Hi, I am new to the forum and have enjoyed reading the very informative posts.
I have been in AR platform quite awhile with .223 but have been looking forward to building my first 6.5 Grendel Build for quite awhile.
I informed MSRHUNT I wanted to be part of the next Group Barrel buy via FaceBook and also here. I am purchasing a Lee Anniversary Reloading kit and many extras including dies for my calibers I own now. My question is I would like to purchase at the same time the dies for my upcoming Grendel build.
Are the dies for Grendel the same as they are for Grendel II barrels. I was going to get the Lee Precision Pacesetter 3 die set for 6.5 Grendel?
Thanx in advance. t-2697.jpg

Yes they are the same dies .If you use Lapua or AA cases you will need a smaller decapping pin .

The Hornady Dies I bought were only $35 or so. No need for a crimp or neck size die. Just saying.

If you haven't bought them yet, check into getting Hornady instead of Lee. I've only read that the Hornady are better but not sure whats wrong with Lee, just that Hornady is preferred.

I actually don't know first hand what the difference is so maybe someone with experience using them will chime in.
