I got my first Grendel build out of the way 2 weeks ago, and so far, I am impressed. I've only shot out to 200 yards so far, but I am hoping I can get to my buddies in the next couple weeks and reach out further with it. Anyways, on to the details...

Quality Arms Side Charger upper receiever
Nickel Boron BCG
Satern 20" Mid Contour Stainless Barrel
Midwest Industries Gen2 SS free float tube
NWP Muzzle Brake
Spikes Lower
Geisselle SSA-E Trigger
Ergo F93 Stock.

The only issues that I have had is with the c-products 26 round magazine feeding like crap, so I just use my 5 rounder.

These are my first 3 shots at 100 yards after bore sighting, not too bad

Nice setup, I like the F93 in FDE.

So for the Brake, did NWP thread it 9/16-24 or is that a 5/8-24 barrel? The 9/16-24 is a bummer when trying to put brakes on the Grendel.

Yes, it is 9/16-24 thread. Mac's Gunworks is who makes the Muzzles brakes (which are awesome BTW), and it just so happens that his shop is on my way hope from work. He makes all of his own brakes. He has oodles of brakes already CNC'd in containers just waiting to be drilled for calibers, with every thread pattern known to man. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. He does good work, so it didn't seem like a big deal. Cost me $80, and that's with him putting it on.
