Since the only muzzle treatments that are available for the 12.7x42 Barrel with the 49/64-20 thread (0.765-20) in SS are Heliports, I decided to make something better than the AA Tank Brake. I designed a Stainless Steel Brakes specifically for the Satern 12.7x42 Barrels. These are specifically made to fit the Midway Contour Barrel with the .875 GB and won't fit the Brownells .936 barrel without some machining of the barrel (Barrel OD is too big).

These will fit the Group Buy Barrels that just came thru and if you’re going to Melonite or Cerakote your setup, it would be good to do the Barrel and Brake at the same time so the color matches.

This Brake will sleeve over the barrel .140 so there isn't a seam. You can use lock-tite rather than timing them which adds machine time and cost to the installation. There is also a set screw provision on the underside that can be used once you have it in place for extra measures.

Next batch is about 4 weeks out.

Attached are a few pictures on a SS Barrel with one of our Side Charge Uppers. I'll be doing them in Melonite soon as I'll have a batch of barrels being done to match.

Go Black or go Raw SS but either way, they look and function great.

PM if interested.

Ted, what is the cost? How and when would you like to be paid? I already have a barrel from the Group Buy. Would you be willing to melonite my barrel and brake? If so, do I install the brake on the barrel and then ship to you or do you melonite each component separately prior to me installing?

I only have 3 left from the first batch of 20. They are $110 plus shipping and first to PM will get them. I have been using them on my rifle builds and they are very effective.

PM me if interested and I’ll send you payment information.

Also since it has been about a month since I posted this with no responses, I figured nobody was interested. I have another batch of 20 being made but if I get any replies with interest I can increase the order which will bring the cost down. If there are at least 10 requested, I can include the shipping in the price. If it goes to 20, it can possibly drop the price. Quantity drives the price and I’m willing to pass it along.

Sorry but not meloniting customers products. You could possibly find someone in your area to help out because it will cost a lot shipping parts back and forth too.

They are very effective and are made of 303 Stainless Steel and weigh 10.7oz

I have them on hand and made a little cosmetic adjustment, little less of a shoulder that meets the barrel.
