So I have been playing with the Creedmoor and it shoots great with the factory 140gr Amax.  Is this an acceptable round/combo for shooting the 1000 yard stuff, or would I be better off reloading a different bullet/powder combo?

The Hornady A-Max is match ammo so its pretty good but sometimes handloads can optimize your accuracy. And from what i read its a 1000 to 1400 round rifle. Grendels Big Brother.

Also try some Nosler 140gr for comparison and Hornady Superformance 129gr for a weight differance. Let us know.

the 6.5 CM is amazing at bucking the wind at longer range.
its barrel life leaves a bit to be desired but you gotta pay to play.
factory ammo has been known to shoot as well as handloads in some weapons. if i didnt enjoy reloading i would just buy factory ammo for my 6.5 CM
