I have read many recent posts of long time 6.8 shooters who are not so happy at the mother of all 68forums.

I assume that we might be welcoming you here soon and all the better as MSRhunt runs a good shop here.

You can't just let experience walk out the door....

The 6.8 forum changed owners in 2016. But just about everyone is still there. So many gun forums are just nasty, bad advice and snarky people.

But the 6.8 forum, the M14 forum and this forum are the best in that everyone gets along and there is a lot of information exchanged.

Some guys left 68forums or went someplace else but still come back to stir the crap.  Funny the same guys that use to say stop pushing the 6.8 are on other sites cheering on the guys pushing whatever other cartridge they are testing.  I saw a whole bunch of emails swapped between one guy on 68forums and 1 guy on the other forum. I sure would like to post all of the silly BS I saw but I wont. The guys that made the 6.8 what it is today long before the new guys ever heard of the 6.8 are still on 68forums, may not post as much as they once did but they are still there.

Looks like Amyctc5 is the only new member signing in since the mass exodus of the mother forum in 2014. Interesting number there. [rofl]

So  not even 1.

I thought there were thousands of RAR cases available and have been for months.

Your 6.5 GARP is shooting very well, what speed could I realistically expect with 224 Predator and a 55 grain Nosler E-tip using a temp stable powder (Varget or AR Comp)?

And what’s the twist rate of the 224 Predator, the website doesn’t list out the specs...

As for an exodus I guess people recovered from their user names being hijacked and the password resets not working - tried to get a few folks to come here - shame on me.

55s will hit 3500 easy enough. 7.7 twist.  The freebore is .080" to keep a full diameter of bullet in the neck so only .080" of the full diameter of the bullet may stick out of the case mouth. 80 Bergers touch the lands around 2.22-2.23 Lighter bullets touch around 2.015. they shoot well just have to be careful to keep the bullets out of the lands.

I’ve been on 6.8 forums for years, and still post there quite a bit. Great bunch of guys there that I respect. I do own several different MSR calibers that I love to talk and learn about, and this forum covers those too.
