A thread specifically for those building rifles from the Liberty barrel buys. Tell us what furniture your going with and deals you have found for your buy.

Mine is just going to be an upper for an existing lower. I'm going to get a NW Precision upper and going with the UTG hand guard. For a BCG i'm using Franks from Maxim.

This one is going to be my budget build.  I have a PSA blem upper, spare Wilson gas block, second-hand handguard, TN Arms Co complete polymer lower in FDE and MagPul kit.  I am using my AR Stoner mount that I took off of another gun, still undecided on glass.  Should be under $1K, not counting the scope.

I ordered a 6.8SPC 10 Round Pri Mag for my Grendel II chambered rifle. They are on sale at midwayusa for 35 bucks shipped. They work with the Grendel and will allow loading to 2.3in.

Ajison can you measure how far out you can load in one of the C mags? I read it allows to 2.3 can you check? Good choices by the way i really like the Midwest Industries SS hand guards and agree on Maxim they have all my bolt business. I think there Grendel bolts are the best on the market plus i just like Frank cool guy!! Looks like we have similar tastes i've turned into a Redfield fan as well. I don't like paying a lot more for minute improvements that have more to do with rifle vanity than performance.
