Thought maybe we could kickstart the 6.8 section a bit....I need to convert a couple 10 round (read 7 round) 6.8 mags to 5 rounds to hunt in Nebraska....anyone done this.  Do I need to cut the spring at all or just add a block of wood and how big would you go with the wood block?

Also I'm starting to develop a load for deer out of a 20" ARP heavy barrel, rifle length gas RRA Coyote Carbine.  Anyone have a favorite powder...I wanted to use 2320 but can't find any.  Also what bullet grain and tip do you recommend.  I'm sure I'll have some more questions, but that's all I can think of at the moment.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

Late reply, as just joined. H-335, Reloader 10x, IMR-8208 excellent powders. H-322 good with the lighter heads.

AA-2230 excellent for me with Hornady 120 SST and 120 Barnes. Terrific accuracy, higher velocity compared to many other powders....the IMR-8208 is new for me but proving to be just as good with the 120 grainers...both oink busters.

I've been using 322 for my 100 gr pills haven't gotten a chrono but they seem to group well.

Still haven't been able to get a hold of some 1200R or 2200 as of yet. Saving my 8208 for my .270 AR build.

ETA I'm running the same 20" ARP barrel.  100 gr sp
