I bought two boxes of these a while back. Heck I don't think I had a press when I ordered them. I did some testing with 8208xbr as well as 335. Due to the temp stability of 8208 I opted to concentrate on that powder. I would like to build up a stock of this as a loaded round for plinking and whatever I can use it for. I don't have a chronograph and I played it pretty safe. I found my best groupings and will be playing with seating depths at this point.

So here is what I am loading currently.
95gr .264 Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos
Lapua brass trimmed to 1.515
29.7gr IMR 8208 XBR
CCI BR4 Primers (its what the nearby BassPro had)
COAL 2.265 (will be shooting 2.270 next)
Averaging 2620fps - 2630fps

I will update as I tune the seat depth in my LBC chamber. My last outing was 0.3 moa as a three shot group, then I shot two more for a 0.8 moa group. I keep going to the range after 8-9 hrs at work and I end up fidgety and dehydrated after operating zero automation 35 barrel brewing system. One,of these days I'd love to go mid afternoon all relaxed and calm. Anyhow I thought the forum here would appreciate the data on this bullet. Next up is a load development on the new Pure Precision 105gr bullets. I shot some on my last outing with 28gr of 8208 but it was just to play around more than anything. I did a quick pressure string and saw nothing weird up through 29gr. I had to seat them at 2.230 due to the ogive.

Hit the range again for two hours tonight.  I got to do a round robin OCW with some 105gr Pure Precision Match AR.

I picked up a chrony last week and got to cook some of these Lehigh Defense off for speed checks.

They were averaging 2620-2630.  My Chrony kept not recording the shots, I think do to lower than ideal light conditions.  This is out of my 16.8" Lilja barrel.

For reference Precision Firearms claims 108gr Scenars at 2700fps out of a 24" barrel and I was getting about 2450fps out of mine.

I do want to add one more bit of info with this bullet.  I don't know how everyone else's feed ramps match up to their upper but mine were pretty bad.  So I blended, shot, kept getting failure to feed, blended some more, and went and shot this time.  I still got 2-3 failure to feed due to the hollowpoints catching the barrel to upper mating surface.  I think I got the last bit of edge off this morning.  I played my feed ramp blending and polishing very conservative which is I've worked on my ramps three times shooting after each time.  With my upper the bullets only had a fail to feed on the left ramp as you stare at the chamber this last time out.  I did find a bit more of an edge and think I remedied my issue.  If the issue still exists I will have to abandon these bullets because of their feeding characteristics.  Everything else fed perfectly on my last outing except a couple of these Lehigh Defense hollow points.  They have been the biggest feeding issue for me.  When first started to get the upper running EVERY round would sometimes catch the feed ramp and jam up the bolt.  Now the FMJ Wolf, all ballistic tips, Pure Precision solids as well as Scenar/SMK feed great.  The Pure Precision have a sharp meplat and they caught themselves on the ramp as well despite being a solid match bullet.  Just food for thought when if anyone buys them and works up loads.

Lilja barrel with a Aero M4E1 upper.  The barrel extension had enough of a raised edge compared to the receiver feed ramps that I had to do something.  When I first got it running the only bullet that would reliably feed was a FMJ.  Ballistic tips would get crushed and OTMs were the worst along with this 95gr bullet when I got around to shooting handloads.  Everything is nicely blended and polished now.

Went out again today shooting some more aggressive loads.  I got the 95gr running around 2750ps with 31.4gr of 8208xbr.  These rounds were loaded incrementally from 29.5 and seated to 2.285".   Everything went well, all cases looked fine, and velocities rose predictably.  I didn't do accuracy testing at this load.  Tread lightly up over 30gr, Hodgdon lists 31.0 as max with 8208 and the V-Max.

I had some of the 85gr Pure Precision bullets too and they were running 2800-2880 with my charge weights.  I totally boffed my round robin target shooting and the OCW was pretty much a wash at that point.  I hate when my mind drifts a bit and I forgot what I was doing for a second.
