I ordered a 'superbolt' with cam and cotter pins. The cam pin is too big for the bolt. I tried a 5.56 cam pin with the same issue.

Was I shipped the wrong cam pin? Do I need to 'rob' a 6.8SPC bolt carrier group for a cam pin?

Best Regards,
Sid

p.s. I tried a PM but, after the third try gave up. Apparently I can't send PMs or the website thinks I'm a spammer.

i would check for a burr at the cam pin hole opening in the bolt. i have had a couple with a burr just took a light hit with a file and the pins went right in.

Take the bolt out and test fit the cam pin.

You also might have the bolt rotated 180 degrees. Ive done it and realized the extraxctor was facing the wrong way. Things happen. Just a thought.

Thanks everyone!

I took everything apart and worked it a little bit and got everything to fit. It was a little too tight but seems to functional now. I think I need to break it in a little more because it is still a bit tight.
