Looking for some confirmation if your having issues like I have come across. On my 6.5 Creedmoors finding an issue with magazine feeding the 140gr and 147gr Hornady ELD's. The 120gr and 129gr polymer tip Hornady ammo works fine.

The 120gr and 129gr are shorter with the OAL of 2.680 and feed with no issue. The 140gr and 147gr are full mag length with the OAL of 2.815. I've tried DPMS, Magpul and Lancer mags, all with the same results. you will notice the differance in length in the magazines and the buggered up ELD tip on the 147gr tip from hitting the barrel extension.

Guess all of you with AR-10 Creedmoor's aren't seeing feed issues with the Long OAL Hornady or others ammo?

Talking to a few manufactures, seems as if its a known issue and its the magazine feed lips. The problem seems to be getting the long projectiles lifting sooner and aiming up into the throat. With the shoulder is back so much further than a 308, the case shoulder doesn't reach the feed ramps till it nose dives into the barrel face with the full mag-length ammo.

Just can't believe nobody is having any feed issues. Maybe nobody here has Semi-auto Creedmoore's. Amazing. .

Just looking for some input.
