What dies are used? Could a Grendel seating die be used?

A Grendel die can not be used to seat but a 7mm BR bushing  die could be used to size and seat if you hold the die .100 above the shell holder.

After testing all of the different calibers in 6.8 and BRX size cats against the 243, 260 and 308 in the last few months I know there is no benefit to go to a cartridge of 50gr or more when using a barrel 16-20" long especially in calibers smaller than 30. When barrel lengths are 20" or less I can get within 50fps of full size cartridges using the BRX.
As a result I have dropped all plans to make any cats based on the 284 or wssm case.

A pic with a grendel a 6.5BRX and 260 Remington or Creedmore would be helpful for scale.

Well it looks like i'll be selling my 270AR stuff to get one. I don't think it will beat the 270AR in performance really they are pretty close just that I have lots of 6.5 pills already on my reloading shelve so it makes more sense for me than the 270AR.

42.5-43 for BR brass. Apx 40-40.5 if Lapua 6.5x47 brass is used. 2 gr less if 308 brass is used. About the same differences you were seeing with the 270AR.
123s at 2800 out of a 20" barrel is about all you can expect.
