If you've noticed a big drop in Midwayusa AR Stoner barrel prices its because they are no longer American Made by Satern they have stitched to imports. If your like me and want a complete US Made rifle then stay clear.

Its only the 223 barrels that are imports and not sure its a factory outside the US.

I did notice the price drop when I got the product notification Saturday. Same picture as before so they didn't update it with a new barrel or change the description (still 5R rifling and 416R SS). I thought they may have a typo and they should be $239 as previously. I have found some vendors to fat finger updates so saw the same $139 today.

I didn't confirm with Satern if they stopped supplying them, did you?

As for being American made is one thing but Satern .223's are very accurate and worth the money to me.

Ya, me too. Disappointing some will sell parts for less $$ and let a good product go. Those barrels are sub moa and who knows what they are selling now. And whats real confusing is they have other manufactures barrels for 3 times that price. Like Noveske and Shilen, but it is what it is...

Slightly off topic. I bought an ar stoner .223 Wylde a few years ago. Gas port is huge, about .100". Had to run H2 buffer to get the cycling right. Anyone else see this?
